Heel & Arch Pain

The most common cause of heel pain is inflammation of the plantar fascia (known as Plantar Fasciitis or the connective tissue of the foot and arch. Heel and arch Pain can also be the result of structural imbalances such as flat-feet/over-pronation, foot shock or injury, sporting activities, poor fitting footwear and trauma.

Other common causes of heel/arch pain include Achilles Tendonitis, an overuse injury of the Achilles tendon which attaches into the back of the heel, or Severs Disease in Children’s Feet.
