Chilblains

Chilblains are a common condition in winter a lot of people suffer from. They are patches of red, swollen and itchy skin. The main cause of Chilblains is poor circulation and cold weather approaching.

It is very common to get this condition on the ends of toes and fingers. Tight shoes may also be a factor to further reduce circulation in the toes.

Symptoms of Chilblains:

  • Red, blue or purple patches
  • Intense itching
  • Dry skin
  • Ulceration in severe cases
